MIDN 1C Walker French
Midshipman First Class, U.S. Naval Academy
MIDN 1/C Walker French is an honors Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences major at the United States Naval Academy. He currently serves as this year’s Co-Chair of the United States Naval Academy’s Science and Engineering Conference: “Beyond the Forecast: Extreme Weather in a Changing Climate.” He is also the Director of Academics for the Naval Academy’s Foreign Affairs Conference, which is a conference he has participated in for the last four years. Additionally, MIDN 1/C French serves as the Oceanography Club President and 28th Company Physical Mission Officer.
Walker is from Los Gatos, California. He enjoys competing in triathlon races and hiking during his free time. Walker aspires to commission as a Navy pilot and fly the P-8A Poseidon.
